KATE STRANGFELD is pursuing her master’s degree in education at Harvard University and was a science teacher for eight years. Before teaching, she attended culinary school, worked in several restaurants and as a private chef, and worked for Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Program. In her free time, Kate writes a food blog that focuses on seasonal recipes.
